➀ Tasting Notes: Here the brooding and unusually deeply pitched nose is distinctly pepper-inflected with its array of plum, dark berry and freshly turned earth-suffused nose. The supple and moderately easy-going medium weight flavors are not especially dense though the texture reflects the usual CSJ refinement, all wrapped in a mildly warm and sneaky long finale. — Burghound
