➀ Tasting Notes: It shows a touch more freshness and restraint than the Petrucci in this vintage. Dark fruit, herbs and spices come together nicely in a warm, radiant expression of these hillside vineyards located just south of Siena. It is quite open even at this early stage, but it also possesses more than enough vibrancy and verve to develop beautifully in bottle over the coming years. Minerals, menthol and chocolate add complexity on the round, polished finish. — Burghound
